Epsom salt is not actually salt but a naturally occurring pure mineral compound of magnesium and sulfate. This mineral compound is packed with numerous health benefits.   • ½ cup of salt for children under 60 lbs
  • 1 cup of salt for people between 60-100 lbs.
  • 1 ½ cup of salt for people between 100-150 lbs.
  • 2 cups of salt for people between 150-200 lbs.
  • ½ cup of salt more for every 50lbs larger.
Moreover, you can add other ingredients to your bath to improve its smell and properties. Hence, feel free to add ½ cup of olive oil to improve the antioxidant properties of the bath and ginger or cayenne powder, which will improve the detoxification process.
